| Emmanuelle Honoré is
an archaeologist specialized in
prehistoric Lower Mesopotamia
and pre-dynastic Egypt. Holding
a diploma from the University
of Paris I – Pantheon Sorbonne
in Eastern Archaeology, she studies
under the direction of Professor
Serge Cleuziou. Her research in
various fields such as glyptics
and the periods of Urok and Jemdet
Nasr or the funerary practices
of several major cemeteries, including
the Royal Cemetery of Ur. In Egypt,
she participates in research on
the Neolithic cultures of the
Sahara and in the Nile Valley,
in conjunction with prospection
missions in the Western Desert
(Great Sand Desert). Emmanuelle
Honoré is also conducting
research on pariteal art, currently
preparing a publication on the
decorated caves of Gilf el-Kebir. |
