Born in 1964 in Bruxelles (Belgium), Father Serge THEATRE holds a double Major in Secondary Teaching.
(A.E.S.I Belgian diploma) in Sciences-Geography-Physics and in French-History-Latin. After earning a Bachelor of Theology degree at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and after being ordained priest for the Namur diocese, he was sent on a research mission to Rome (where he earned a Master of Biblical Sciences at the Biblical Institute) at Jerusalem (earning a scholastic certificate at the Ecole Biblique and French Archaeology) and in Paris (where he earned two masters in Theology and in Philosophy and History of the Ancient Orient at the Catholic Institute, a Doctorate in History of Religions and Anthropology at the University of Paris IV – Sorbonne as well as a Doctorate in Theology at the Catholic Institute of Paris.
